Dam, Boat Launch and Storage Areas
- No person shall use the dam of Grandview Lake or the
boat launching area except for owner(s) of lots fronting
on Grandview Lake, their families and guests, or renters
of lots fronting on Grandview Lake, their families and
guests.
- a. No person shall place any of his property in the
launching ramp area and the fenced enclosure surrounding
the same, except for temporary placement of the boat(s)
and trailer(s) which are the property of an owner of a
lot fronting on Grandview Lake or the property of a
renter of a lot fronting on Grandview Lake (during the
term of such renter’s lease only). All boats, trailers,
and accessory equipment in this area are placed at the
sole risk and responsibility of the owner or renter. All
trailers located within this area must be identified
with the lot number of the owner of such trailer on the
tongue of the trailer within two (2) feet of the
hitchpoint on the left side of the tongue.
b. Any trailer or other property left in the launching
ramp area, or in the fenced enclosure
surrounding the same, or at any other location on any
other property owned by the Association may be
considered by the BOD to be abandoned by its owner(s) if
said property has not been used or moved from its
location for a period of twelve (12) months or longer or
if the trailer is not roadworthy (i.e. a tire or tires
are flat or are removed from the trailer). Any boat or
watercraft located within the launching ramp area, or
fenced enclosure surrounding the same, or on any other
property owned by the Association may be considered by
the BOD to be abandoned property if such property has
not been operated on Grandview Lake for a period of
twelve (12) months or longer.
c. The owner(s) of any property that has been abandoned
or that may be considered to be abandoned by the BOD
located in the launching ramp area or in the fenced
enclosure surrounding the same or on any other property
owned by the Association shall pay the Association a
storage fee in the amount of Ten Dollars ($10.00) per
month for each month after such property shall be deemed
abandoned for as long as such property remains on
property owned by the Association, and if such storage
fee is not paid, the BOD may exercise the remedies of
the Association in asserting and foreclosing a storage
lien, and/or any other remedies that it may have,
including removal and/or destruction of such property.
3. No bicycles, motorcycles, snowmobiles, all terrain
vehicles, or motorized vehicles of any kind shall use or
come on the Grandview Lake dam, dam slope, or any areas
below the dam, unless otherwise approved in advance by
the Board of Directors of the Grandview Lot Owners
Association, Inc.
4. No person is permitted on the Grandview Lake dam, dam
slope, or any areas below the dam, except as follows:
a. Owners of lots fronting on Grandview Lake who are
members of the Grandview Lot Owners Association, Inc.
and their families and guests, who are accompanied by a
lot owner who is a member of said corporation only to
hike across these area on foot and for no other purpose.
b. Any other person who is authorized in advance by the
Board of Directors of the Grandview Lot Owners
Association, Inc.
5. No watercraft shall be secured, tied, anchored,
stored or docked at any launching Ramp dock or on the
shore (defined as any area that is not a boat and
trailer parking area designated by the Board from time -
to - time) or lake areas owned by the Grandview Lot
Owners Association, Inc. ("GLOA") for more than one (1)
hour, except as authorized by the Board of Directors of
GLOA ("BOARD").
Any violation of this rule may result in the BOARD
suspending the owner(s) of the lot to which the watercraft
is registered and the owner of such watercraft from using
the launching ramp and related facilities and any other
property owned by GLOA for such period of time as
determined by the Board of Directors of GLOA.
