Fishing

  1. Ice fishing is permitted provided that the holes are properly marked and do not constitute a hazard to other lake users.
     
  2. The following daily catch limits and minimum size regulations apply to a person who fishes on Grandview Lake: 
     

    Daily Catch Limits & Minimum Size
    A person who is fishing on Grandview Lake must exhibit for count and measurement all fish in possession upon request from the safety patrol, officer, director, or employee of the Association.

    * The measurement length shall be taken in a straight line from the utmost end of the snout with the mouth closed to the utmost end of the tail fin when the tail fin is compressed so that the upper and lower lobes touch or overlap.
     

  3. Fishing with a firearm, fish spear, gig, spear gun, underwater spear, pitchfork, and any bow and arrow is prohibited. No person may fish with any more than three (3) poles and/or hand lines at any one (1) time, and not more than two (2) single hooks or two (2) artificial baits or harnesses for use with live bait may be used on each line. Float (jug) fishing, and fishing with trout lines and limb or drop lines is prohibited. Fishing with nets, seines, and traps is prohibited, except for minnows.
